Wow...just wow...how to start...well...I'm ticked...because...well...a lot of things... It was time for the fourth iteration of Gaming @ Your Library, the festive time when our library opens its doors to nothing but snacks, pizza, and video games all day long.  We worked hard and struggled to make sure it happened at the same time as the Spring Blast, a campus-wide event where students are encouraged to enjoy themselves in a time where they can get breaks from classes...but our Student Activities people were a pain in the ass all the way. Our biggest problem has always been advertising...no matter how well in advance I may have a sign made,

Damn it, I just never seem to get away from Super Robot Wars.  As I near a close to SRW Z, mind-blowingly awesome by the way, I fall right into SRW K for the DS.  I've already preordered and I'm calmly waiting for next week. In other news, going for a new job, 40 delicious hours of pay putting me into the 30k figure finally, good enough to move out on my own and do all the things my mind tells me to think about...like er...*mumblemumble*romance*mumblemumble* stuff. Should have said it earlier, but the Gaming Day was a fantastic success.  It was so much of a success, that we actually pulled off a second one on December 8th.  It was actually bigger than the last one. We decided that in order to hold fundraisers and the like to raise money for the purchase of snacks, games, and equipment, we would include it into our Library Club.  Now that it is part of an organization, we can find ways to hold contests, events, and prizes.  Not only that, but we held a member recruitment drive on the 8th and I managed to nearly double the size of our Library Club, making it one of the biggest clubs on our campus.
